Party night: Concert in the Lávvolávdi

At 21.00 in Guovdageaidnu gilišilju / Kautokeino bygdetun

As a co-operation between Sámi University of Applied Sciences and Sámi Music Festival is a concert arranged in the Lávvu Stage in Guovdageainnu gilišillju / Kautokeino bygdetun. The artist of the concert is Felgen Orkester. The tickets will be available in student price for the students of Sámi University of Applied Sciences and in normal price for others. Student tickets are sold in the reception of Academic Administration during the introduction week. Only the normal price tickets are available to buy at the concert place. Age limit: 18

Felgen Orkester

Felgen Orkester is a Sámi pop/rock/folk band that makes cheerful and melodic songs. The band from Karasjok consists of 5 cousins and a friend who is probably also related to the rest. All the texts are in Northern Sami and take much of the inspiration from the abstract in nature, love, philosophers of life, combined with yoik.
